His companies are widely diversified, its construction activities ranging from construction of roads, airports, buildings and dams to various maintenance repairs and operations.
It is estimated that value of the total contracts executed with several Government Departments among which is, The Ministry of Defense and Aviation, reached a value of 4 billion Riyals, during the period of 10 years. Furthermore, Sheikh Mubarak AlSuwaiket is one of the founders and investor of the 3 Development Corporation vis., The Saudi Agricultural Company, Saudi Industrial Development Company and Saudi Maintenance and Operation.
In the summer of 1990, and after the invasion of Iraq into Kuwait , Sheikh Mubarak Al Suwaiket joined the Saudi Forces at the borders and was nominated, Commander in Charge for the support of Allied Forces. Because of his construction background, the Saudi Authorities asked him to build a temporary military airport, camping facilities and roads. Considering it his duty, Sheikh Mubarak executed the above project using his own staff and machinery, all free of charge.
With his unit, he was the first to open the borders between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, thus enabling the Allied and Saudi Forces to enter into Kuwait ( a video tape registering these moments is also available ). The Minister of Defense, all Senior personnel of the Saudi Army, the Allied Forces and the Arab Forces ( Egyptians and Syrians ) thanked him for his bravery and efforts during the war and gave him for his medals. Furthermore, King Fahad presented Sheikh Mubarak with an appreciation medal and the Desert Storm Shield saying that, he was the only civilian who deserved the same.
Hence, it is with a bright eye cast upon the future of his country, that Sheikh Mubarak AlSuwaiket is looking forward to cooperate of his company, with highly specialized and technically viable partners from abroad.
